Juvenile Detention Center outreach

Many of the children that come onto the Juvenile Detention System come from broken Homes.

It will be our goal to preach to the children while they are in the Detention Center but not stop there. These children need someone that is involved in their life on a permanent basis to truly impact their life for Christ. God has instituted the home to be the place for children to be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. These children have no home that is fulfilling that need. We will be doing all that we can to be a part of their life so that they may see and feel the love of God through His children. We will not be able to become personally involved in every child's life that we share the Gospel with but for those that the Lord opens the door we will help with their needs and care for them as we are able to. Please pray for us because this ministry requires great discernment and wisdom. We are trusting that God will supply all our needs.

Mathew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

Teach Character building classes in The Public

Schools

This is part of our ministry were we will be involved in the public school systems. We will be teaching classes on morals to children in the schools. In these classes we are able to use scripture to teach about such things as stealing or lying. Often through these opportunities we will be able to share the Gospel with the children during their free time after the classroom setting.

“If we desire our faith to be strengthened, we should not shrink from opportunities where our faith may be tried, and therefore, through trial, be strengthened.”

― George Mueller

Work with our Sister Churches in helping them to develop outreach ministries in their own communities to reach the Fatherless

We want to encourage our sister churches to become involved in caring for the poor and the fatherless in their own communities. ·

  • We will do this by sharing God's word with them that calls his children to this type of ministry.

  • By sharing our experiences (what works and doesn't)

  • Help them to develop a ministry in their own church

  • Give individual members that have a desire to serve and be a part in caring for a fatherless child the opportunity to do so.

Personal Training

Developing skills and training that will help the children with their needs

These children have experienced great loss and hurt. Many times these experiences greatly hinder their ability to love and trust.

It is our goal to help them overcome these great obstacles so that they may learn to love and trust.

It is very important for us to spend time in educating ourselves on how to reach and deal with children that have endured great trauma in their life.

We will then teach others that are working with us in this ministry how to care and reach these children.

As any missionary must learn the language and culture of the people that they are called to reach so must we if we are to reach these children.
